Who to love, what work to do and who to be: the days leading to those decisions are the most dramatic in our lives

I am a first-time independent writer-producer with a small budget. I have too many years in business, am risking my own money, write because I must and produce because that way lies as much independence as might be.

The plays have everything – well, except nudity, sex and violence. This is the English stage. We do have the other ingredients: hope, heart, suspense, laughter and happy endings. Mostly happy endings.
